An evening of Forum Theatre, Saturday June 11, 2016, Bangalore

Dear friends

CCDC's annual 6 day facilitator training in Theatre of the Oppressed starts Tuesday June 7, 2016, in Bangalore.

As always, as part of the training, we will have a public Forum performance on Day 5. 

 

This year's Forum is scheduled for Saturday June 11, from 5 30PM- 7 30 PM.

At the Indian Social Institute, Benson Town, Bangalore.

What do we have on offer?

30 actors from 11 different cities of India, and from Dubai, Muscat, Hong Kong and the USA. 

Short plays on issues of contemporary relevance.

An opportunity to intervene in the action on stage.

Dear Prabha

 Thanks so much for your good wishes. The training went very well- going by the participants' feedback and the response to the Forum performance.

The diversity of the group made for a very rich interaction. Every game and exercise we played helped us see our differences as well as our humanity. The group really took us seriously when we asked them on the first day to "not be in their heads", and "just surrender to the experience" these 6 days. The forum day saw 5 very powerful stories.
