On International Women’s Day, yesterday, CCDC performed two shows of their latest forum play on Sexual Harassment of Women at the Workplace.
The shows, invited by Akamai Technologies, Bellandur, and Levi’s, Adugodi, Bangalore, were well attended, and the mixed audience of men and women offered creative and thought provoking interventions.
The interventions and discussions saw the audience exploring the ongoing battle that women in professional spaces wage against objectification, the impact of conditioning and upbringing on both men and women, the importance and the difficulty of articulating one’s needs and desires, and the need to build respectful, caring communities both in the workplace and outside.
