Dandi March II in Columbus
A group of NRI inspired by the landmark event, Dandi March (Mar 12 to Apr 6, 1930) by Mahatma Gandhi during our freedom struggle, have launched DANDI MARCH - II: A 240 Mile Walk Against Corruption. They are walking 240 miles from San Diego to San Francisco in California, USA, from March 12 to 26 demanding the goverment of India to enact the Jan Lokpal Bill. In support of this, several others across the world are walking in their cities on March 26th. Support this movement against corruption, in your city, COLUMBUS! The march in Columbus will be on March 26, 2011 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon starting from Goodale Park, 120 West Goodale Street Columbus, Ohio 43215, covering parts of downtown Columbus for roughly 3 miles and ending back at Goodale Park.
