For fonts, check out Blambot ( http://www.blambot.com ) and daFont ( http://www.dafont.com ). Both have a wide variety of excellent comic fonts you can use.

For my comics, I use CCJoeKubert for dialogue on PC Weenies ( http://www.pcweenies.com ) and for UNcubed ( http://www.uncubedthecomic.com ) I use Anime Ace. I wound up paying for CCJoeKubert via ComicBookFonts.com, because I really find it useful.

If you're interested in the craft of cartooning and comics, one podcast I'd strongly recommend everyone check out is Art & Story ( http://www.artandstorypodcast.com ). I've learned a ton of great information from the shows hosts, Jerzy and Mark.
