Tanay
I thought good for eyes. I remember an episode. We were on way to Nainital and stayed for night at place called Bilaspur. Early next morning our hosts went early morning and when they came back after 6-8 hours, they were were very excited because a Baba ji had given them piece of a plant, useful for eyes, which Baba ji according to them brought from a distant place. I asked them to show me the plant, took them to their door and told them  to pick up plant outside their wall, along sewage drain and compare the two. They were surprised. Yes it was Eclipta prostrata.

Dear Gurcharan ji,
In Bengali E alba is known as " Kesut" this plant grown widely here , mainly girls pick them up and them make a paste to drain out the juice and  mix with coconut oil and apply on  hair . the plant though looks green in color but the juice is black and badly stains the hand . this is a old mother's remedy to keep hairs black, control hair fall and also fights against dandruff. My grandmother used to apply it on my hair when I was a kid and left it for 3-4 hours and then washed it off. Many people also enrich it with the extract of Hibiscus rosa sinensis or " Jaba Kusum" along with it.
Regards
Tanay
