Could not find any match as per comparative images at
https://efloraofindia.com/efi/strobilanthes/
Some similarity was found with
https://efloraofindia.com/efi/strobilanthes-jeyporensis/, posted plant but looks different.

Many thanks Garg ji.
I too could not find such cone spikes during my earlier search.
Can it be Strobilanthes kunthiana (Nees) T.Anderson ex Benth.?

I guess Strobilanthes jeyporensis Bedd. is the closest match. Please check images at GBIF.

Thank you.

Many thanks Saroj ji.
I am not convinced with Strobilanthes jeyporensis Bedd.
We will wait for comments and validations for some time.

As of now, the thoughts are:

Garg ji, in eFI, in this thread, above.
Some similarity was found with Strobilanthes jeyporensis Bedd. the posted plant but looks different.

Saroj ji, in eFI, in this thread, above.
Strobilanthes jeyporensis Bedd. is the closest match

Siddarth Machado, in iNaturalist
First thought was that it looked like S. jeyporensis, however that is restricted to northern-central parts of the Eastern Ghats. So looked at the broader S. kunthiana complex that this falls under. This publication describes the S. jeyporensis-cuspidata-carnatica complex within the Kunthiana group. Your observation could be closer to S. carnatica, though not all details line up.

Rohan Maity, in facebook:
Strobilanthes cf. jeyporensis
Your plant is quite interesting. I could not go closer than S. jeyporensis. However, I see some differences from S. jeyporensis as well which needs confirmation.

Until the ID gets resolved, I will label the observation as Strobilanthes cf. jeyporensis.

Regards.

Yes, to me also appears more closer to S. carnatica as per keys at Revision of the Strobilanthes kunthiana-Group (Phlebophyllum sensu Bremekamp) (Acanthaceae) by Mark A. Carine and others- Kew Bulletin 59(1):1–25 · January 2004
and GBIF specimens.
