Unusual moss from Arunashal Pradesh

Hello again, 
I came across a moss from not far from eaglenest wildlife sanctuary in Arunashal pradesh at an altitude of about 1800m asl and after watching it under a microscope, I found a very unusual bifide leaf shape.

The moss in its environnment.


The  dry collected specimen.


The specimen in water.


One leaf under the microscope.


A cross section of this leaf in the middle.

Hello again, not a moss actually but a liverwort of the genus Herbertus.

This is not a moss but a liverwort. It is a Herbertus sp.

This is not moss but a leafy liverwort belonging to the genus Herbertus. In India the genus is
represented by 10 species and Arunachal Pradesh harbours seven species.

I actually identified it as Herbertus dicranus with "Revision of Asian Herbertus (Herbertaceae, Marchantiophyta)", Aino jusien, 2006.
