Dinesh ji,
Is this Bush Grape or Cayratia trifolia?
Looks similar to your picture on FOI.
Kindly confirm.

Hi,
Two different plants are seen in the photographs. The flowering climber in the first photograph is definitely a species of Cayratia, but the climber in question with the 'fig-like' fruit is a different plant.
                          With regards,
                            Neil Soares.

Hi,
Could it be Securinega virosa ?

... looks a good possibility, Neil ji.
But the concern is the fruits look tender; does Securinega virosa this late ? Query because I am not familiar.
Regards.

Yes, the first pic belongs to Cayratia trifolia and the second one to Flueggea microcarpa (Euphorbiaceae)

Neil ji, Nidhan ji and all,
Your sharp eye caught the difference!
Pictures were taken very close by, and frankly I had presumed them to
be fruits of the first creeper.
Thanks for spotting the difference.
Are Securinega virosa and Fluggea microcarpa syn?
Thanks again.
Aarti
