Psilotum nudum (L.) P. Beauv. Is a wild lower group fern from Western Ghats Tamilnadu. It is my old collection when I was studying my post graduation (35 years before)

Yes - but few in India seem to have kept up - it is not a Lycophyte, but a simplified fern!  More advanced not so "lower".
