Please help for id of this Ipomea sp. recorded from Guraon in month of September 2010.

In Maharashtra this plant used on Dog bite.

Tanay which pentaphylla you are talking about:

Ipomoea pentaphylla Cav. is a synonym of Ipomoea cairica (L.) Sweet


Ipomoea pentaphylla (L.) Jacq. is a synonym of Merremia aegyptia (L.) Urb.

This looks like Merremia aegyptica = Ipomoea pentaphylla and Tanay
might be pointing towards this. Am I right Tanay Ji?
