This plant has hirsute leaves that are red when young, green when old. Also, the flowers are yellow with 5 petals. 

Near Agasthymalai environs. IISER TVM.

This is Acrotrema arnottianum 

[Mahadeswara]

I have seen this in Tamil Nadu .  The species is endemic to Tamil Nadu & Kerala.
