Cleome hasslerana from Periyar

seen it near Thekeddi of Periyar Tiger Reserve.
I think this is Cleome hasslerana.
Please comment on this

Dear lexon,
It is not Cleome gynandra, in C. gynandra the stamens and carpel born on a long stalk known as gynandrophore, much above the insertion of the perianth, for compression a pic of C gynandra is attached.

... Cleome hassleriana (or hasslerana), native of southern South America ... generic common name is Spider Flower, or simply Cleome.
Also popularly known as Grandfather's Whiskers or Spider Legs.

I am attaching a photo -- one of my personal favourites.

Yes I agree with you. Your Periyar plant is more likely to be C. hassleriana and not Cleome gynandra
 
Although C. hassleriana flowers tend to have pinkish tinge, I have seen photographs with pur white flowers.
