Native to: s China, India, Nepal, n-e Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Indo-China, Malesia 


  • tumba (in Malayalam) ... May 29, 2011 along KSH 34 at Londa, Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary, Karnataka
  • Gopha (Hindi: गोफा) ... Dec 20, 2008 at Shirgaon near Chiplun

Dinesh ji, I think this is L. lavandulifolia (= L. indica). Pl check.

In this set, the first three and last three pictures belong to Leucas lavandulifolia.
The middle three pictures are perhaps of L. zeylanica. This need to be confirmed.
If you have access please refer to the monograph of Leucas by V.Singh.

... want to know if Leucas lavandulaefolia Rees (= Leucas linifolia Spreng.) is synonym of Leucas lavandulifolia Sm. (= Leucas linifolia (Roth) Spreng.)
