Thank you very much for ID.  I had the same kind of fruit images, but lost from my old phone, edible delicious sweet fleshy fruit, kind regards, Sam.

I think Girish ji's images are of Nothopegia travancorica as per keys in BSI Flora of india (leave nerves 25-30 and leaves alternate).
Sam ji's images are of a different species.

Hi, Girish ji,
Can you check if the branchlets and petioles are rusty villous or quite glabrous, as details are not clear to me (to decide about the species)?
To me it appears like branchlets and petioles are rusty villous.
