This is a tree. more than 12 ft at my place
It was planted as part of an ayurvedic garden.
Was planted 4 years back. Growing well with profuse flowers and fruits.
The soil in which it is growing is black soil.
Growing in Govardhan Eco Village (110km north of Mumbai)

I found the pictured seeds when i cut the fruit.

Guazuma ulmifolia.  A medicinally useful tree.  Grows in any type of soil.
west indies elm, bastard cedar.   In Marathi it is called 'Rudrakhsa" Not to be confused with original Rudraksha.  The fruits resemble rudraksha .  Tree parts  used in Siddha and Folk medicines.  Plenty around here and Chennai.
