Poaceae, Cyperaceae and Juncaceae Week grasses, sedges and rushes Cyperaceae ¿ Fimbristylis lawiana ?

Place, Altitude: Vaghbil, Thane ... about 50 ft asl Date, Time: 05 JUL 09 ... 04:35pm Habitat: green cover during monsoon Habit: low erect herb; standing about 4 - 8 inches high; flower about 5 - 7 mm across The flower stalk seems to stem right from the moist earth, there are few linear leaves next to it.

at Vaghbil, Thane on 26 JUL 09 at Vaghbil (same spot as above), Thane on 05 JUL 09
