I would have thought of Macrosolen capitellatus because of the opposite leaf arrangement and observation at high altitude. 

Next possibilities are 1) Dendrophthoe memecylifolia.or 2) Dendrophthoe neelgherrensis. But I am not sure.

I think looks different from images of Macrosolen capitellatus at 
As per BSI keys at https://efloraofindia.com/efi/dendrophthoe/, it may be Dendrophthoe neelgherrensis as per 
POWO specimen and GBIF specimen.

Yes Garg ji, I did whatever I could to search about D. neelgherrensis.
