Yes Alcea rosea, but a very unique colour.

Thanks Ajinkya ji and Gurcharan Singh Sir for the flower ID.   Yes this was the only plant with blackish flowers, all others were mostly pink, red or white.

How come I missed?. I had photographed from the same place, the usual colours. You were more lucky perhaps.

It is hollyhock, but I have not seen deep blue Hollyhock before.
