Unfortunately, all those sites are giving wrong info. I checked. Not a
big deal. I think people assumed that genus is ending with 's' so the
species should also end that way, but the fact is genus ends with "es"
which has a different gender than "s" or "us".
The image of original description attached from volume 3 page no. 85
of Plantae Asiaticae rariores, or, Descriptions and figures of a
select number of unpublished East Indian plants /by N. Wallich. Which
is most authentic info in the world for this particular taxa.
