"Guazuma ulmifolia.    In Tamil:  Rudrakha (Not original rudraksha).  Very common in Tamil Nadu / Chennai." from Mahadeswara ji.

"Yes, it is Guazuma ulmifolia Lamk. commonly called West Indian Elm and in Tamil as Rudrasam and in Malayalam as Uttharasham.
