Location: Neryamangalam Kothamangalam Ernakulam Kerala INDIA
Altitude: 1300fsl
Flower date: 28MARCH2026, 02.55pm
Habitat: wild moisture sloppy highland 
Plant habit: large tall erect branched tree overgrown, hard woody cylindrical trunk 80 inch base circumference, rough black flaky bark
Height: 15 meter
Leaves: alternate elliptical acute simple flexible smooth glossy, size upto: 12×02.5cm
Flower: axillary panicle inflorescence, yellow, fragrant diameter:04mm

Dear Garg ji,
Yes, it is close to Myristica fragrans.  Thank you very much for the genus ID.
Unfortunately I couldn't taste and smell it's leaves.  But one growing in my property bearing fruits.
