This is just my guess.
I referred Shrikant Ingalhalikar's Leaf-based Identification for Trees of Sahyadri.

In the Western Ghats I have seen the emerging foliage to be reddish, however here it shows green. I think it could be depending on the local climate and environment in the Nilgiris.
