Senna didymobotrya (Fresen.) H. S. Irwin & Barneby, Mem. New York Bot. Gard. 35:467. 1982

syn: Cassia didymobotrya Fresen.

Ornamental shrub producing candle like inflorescence similar to S. alata but quite distinct in smaller leaflets (3-6 cm as against 6-10 cm in S alata), petiole and rachis without ribs and wings, upper flower buds chocolate brown in colour and flat pods without any wings.

Planted along guest houses in Morni hill tract, photographed on April 9, 2011.

Yes Sir,
Thanks for the upload, I think another important aspect for this plant is its foul smell which is lacking in Cassia alata. I am attaching here mine pics of the same from Morni Hills, shot during the same trip.
