Anaphalis contorta : Stems erect or ascending
Anaphalis busua  : Stems erect, (2-)5-6(-13) cm, with ascending or expanding branches
I feel this is more close to Anaphalis contorta (D. Don) Hook. f. !

Thank you.

As per keys in Flora of Pakistan:
1 Leaves often long auricled and with a decurrent base, often short lived without a woody base or branched system. Anaphalis busua
+ Leaves not or scarcely decurrent with a woody base or branched system. (2)
............................

In view, it is Anaphalis busua (Buch.-Ham. ex D.Don) DC.

Garg ji there seems to be some mix up of Anaphalis specimens in our posts. A. busua is characterised by distinctly decurrent leaf bases. This is seen clearly in my specimen from Manali in this post
Rest of messages from Baratkhai, I think don't belong to A. not even A. contorta, because leaves are densely velvety beneath in A. contorta
Similarly above images of Saroj ji have no trace of decurrent base, although auricles are found. We may have to find better ID for them.
