Though Calyx is considered a very important for identification in Ipomoea , and Convolvulaceae in general , subtle variations are  I think  a norm , and should be expected . This species ...Ipomoea pes-caprae subsp. pes-caprae I had recorded last month in Surat and it has a little smaller set of calyx lobes , little smaller throat , and little longer tube than what Dinesh sir has shown here .
