Dear All,

I am looking for pictures and flower samples (atleast 3-5 preserved in
70% alcohol) of Aerides multiflora from all corners of India if
possible. Areas near Bangladesh (eastern, like Assam) will be HIGHLY
preferred as Sylhet in Bangladesh is the type locality of the same.
But I need from other parts too.

It is an epiphytic orchid, very common and flowers before the rains
usually till the mid of the season.

Please find attached a plate of the same to help you in identification.
I would be grateful and your help will be acknowledged.

Regards
Pankaj

Thanks for the positive responses. Looking forward for more from all
parts of India.
Who ever are posting, please take care that the jar should be small
and properly sealed, there is not need to full the jar with alcohol.
Filling 25% of the volume of the jar will be enough.
Please take care while keeping the flowers inside, a long floral stalk
can provide support to the specimens inside, and loosely kept flowers
without support can break.
Regards
Pankaj
