This vine looks different than what I saw and posted in my earlier upload - https://groups.google.com/d/msg/indiantreepix/C8YGVq7gC-A/AuuiUTc_ipgJ.

It is growing in a home yard and I am not sure if all leaves I have photographed are of the same plant. The leaves of this particular individual appeared to me different in shape and significantly bigger in size.

Photographed the day before yesterday, in Hooghly District (West Bengal)

Lamina length 14cm avg., petiole 10 cm avg. Leaves have typical unpleasant smell.

The climber is Paederia foetid a of Rubiaceae. The leaves are used for making a curry with raw plantain and black pepper to get relieve from arthritis. You do not get the bad smell of the leaves when it is used as curry.
