Z. asiatica is a scrambling shrub or climber. 
Z. rhetsa is a shrub or a tree,

This is a climber. 
The doubt in my mind is whether Z. asiatica or Mezoneuron cucullatum. I have seen both in similar form where the leaves and other vegetative parts cannot be seen. 
Most possibly this must be Z. asiatica.
