This was at Mulbekh on the way to Kargil, Ladakh in August 2022.

Is this Cirsium arvense?

Requested to please validate.

There was a similar looking plant at Namika la (one of the passes on the Srinagar Kargil route) at 3700 mt ASL.

Is this also C. arvense.

Please validate.

Yes, both are Cirsium arvense (L.) Scop.
