If you treat Synadenium as an independent genus, then the correct name should be:
Synadenium grantii Hook.f. (1867)
You cannot use Euphorbia grantii for this species, because there is already an earlier E. grantii Oliv. (1875) for a different species.
Euphorbia pubescens (Pax) Bruyns is an illegitimate name, as it is preoccupied by E. pubescens Vahl (1791)
