It is Andrographis paniculata- Belonging to Family Acanthaceae.
Vernacular name is Kalmegh- with bitter alkaloids, has got
antityphoid, antibiotic activities. In Bengal pills made of dried
leaves and shoot are used for digestive and liver complaints
specially for children.A household medicine in rural Bengal.

'Andrographis paniculata' is called 'Ole Kirayat' 'ओले किरायत' / 'Pale kirayat' 'पाले किरायत' / ' Kade Chirayat' 'काडे चिरायत' / 'Kallmegh' 'काळमेघ' in Marathi.
