commonly known as: Adam's-apple, butterfly gardenia, crape jasmine, carnation of India, East Indian rosebay, fleur d'amour, grape jasmine, jasmine grape, moon beam, Nero's crown, pinwheel flower • Gujarati: સાગર sagar, તગર tagar • Hindi: चांदनी chandani • Kannada: nandi battalu • Konkani: अनंत ananta • Marathi: अनंत anant, टगर tagar • Tamil: நந்தியார்வட்டை nandiar vattai


Native of: s China, Bangladesh, Bhutan, n & e India, Nepal, n-w Laos, Myanmar, Thailand


This plant is found in almost every compound in Thane and Mumbai ... and seen the fact in my native place Mangalore too.
