I think it's Swietenia macrophylla. See the details & links from Indiantreepix Database:
Swietenia macrophylla Meliaceae Large-leaved Mahogany/ Bastard Mahogany  Swietenia macrophylla - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Large-leaved Mahogany/ Bastard Mahogany (Swietenia macrophylla) - indiantreepix | Google Groups Swietenia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Swietenia macrophylla

It is not the fruit. The pods you call fruits are in fact a pod of
seeds. It appears like a fruit but when it is dry and as the winds
start to blow. the seeds separate and whirl around in the wind and
land quite far depending on the wind. It is indeed the Mohogany.

The tree is one of the mahogany trees (either Swietenia mahogany or Sweitenia macrophylla ). Check for the morphological characters especially leaves, because there are three species of Sweitenia in Bangalore (S.mahogany, S.macrophylla and S.microphylla).
