I would be very grateful if you could help me identify this species.
Taken at open forest In Mizoram.
I know its a Breynia sp, but I could not make out the species.

Welcome dear, excellent photography, looks unique, not any species represented on Flowers of India. Hope some member finds a correct ID.

I guess this should be  Breynia retusa (Dennst.) Alston only !

You can try Breynia gynophora.

Looks different from GBIF specimens of Breynia gynophora.
May be Breynia retusa only as per images and details herein.
