Hi members,

This is my first post to the group. This group is very informative and refreshing.

The plant is Tylophora indica (Syn: Tylophora asthamatica) which is believed to be a cure for asthma. It is a twiner with milky latex and a typical Asclepiadaceous corona.

Asclepiadaceae is now a subfamily (Asclepiadoideae) under Apocynaceae.

Collected in Madras. (Gowriwakkam)

Sid.
