Friends on way to Periyar noticed this sunflower. I think this is Mexican  Sunflowers (Tithonia diversifolia)
Experts please comment on it

Yes Nayan ji, it is Giant Mexican sunflower (Tithonia diversifolia  , Asteraceae family) .
