Found in a sacred grove in Oorani village,ECR Villupuram district. Tamilnadu.

POWO shows distribution as SW. India, while ILDIS gives it as Pondicherry & Tamil Nadu (which may be correct).
BSI Flora of India gives it as Maharashtra, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu.
