Thanks Dinesh ji for bringing this out for discussion again. The problem has been that all three species have mostly been treated as one species only but now that all three are treated as distinct and looking at the key in Flora of china, this plant has red petals could be Rubia manjith. The last two photographs, however, belong to a different plant.
