Fruit shouts Pandanus.
Leaves are very wrong.
Seen beside the beach, next to a busy road  Dec 2024. Galle . Sri lanka.

From Sumatera, Indonesia
That is a Pandanus fruit (such as P tectorius or related species) stuck on a Barringtonia asiatica. I ve seen people do that for decorative purpose, to intrigue people.

Deffinately not AI.....I saw it when out for a walk and was fascinated. 
Makes a colourful image.
I too wasted hours trying to get a correct id!
