Forwarding again for Id assistance please.
Some earlier relevant feedback:
Can it be a Memecylon species like |
https://efloraofindia.com/efi/memecylon-terminale/?- from me |
Looks like memecylon sp. Only- from Mandru ji |
Not memecylon- from Sivu ji |
It was a wild plant, and a herb I assume. Unfortunately these are the only pics available. Thanks, Pranav |
It is also possible that it may an Apocynaceae member as per images at https://efloraofindia.com/efi/apocynaceae/ https://efloraofindia.com/efi/cryptolepis-buchananii/- from me |

I also agree with Garg ji's first and Mandru ji's opinions. Leaves in the images seems to be simple, and base leaf blade slightly curved inwards. Leaves of C. buchananii are leathery or flexible, and so as it is a climber, it's leaves are never been arranged in same parity even if it trailing on bare ground like leaves in the images. The leaf arrangement in the images have very uniformity. And C. buchananii sprouts always having a twining tendency, but the image shows a hard sprout. Afterall, I am strongly suggests it as Memecylon.Regards, Sam Kuzhalanattu.
