Going by keys, the following can be potential candidates for Potentilla cathaclines:
Herb for ID, Kugti, Himachal Pradesh, NAW-OCT17-02
Herb for ID, Kugti, Himachal Pradesh NAW-OCT17-01
However, I could not find any specimen either in POWO or in GBIF.
Pl. give your views.

Garg ji<
In my opinion, it is
Potentilla argyrophylla Wall. ex Lehm. (Syn. P. atrosanguinea var. argyrophylla (Wall. ex Lehm.) Grierson & D.G.Long), which occurs in high-altitude areas in H.P.
While going through "Plants of Ladakh" by Dorjey and Dolma, a similar-looking plant was mentioned as
Potentilla cathaclines Lehm. (Syn. P. venusta Sojak). That's why I wanted to know the differences between these two and to look for the later species in the adjoining areas of Ladakh.
Regards
