yes
 the first time i saw it i was may be seven years old

i called it the square yellow flower on a thorny bush

and its still a square yellow flower on a thorny bush

only now i know its binomial name for the last fifty years!!!

(if you look into its face down the tube, it has a square outline,
because of 4 petals i guess)

Mulkumizhi in Tamil.  Very common shrub in scrub jungles &  Guindy National park, Chennai.
