Dear Experts,

Please find attached some photographs of a mistletoe plant found on the Acacia modesta in a scrub forest area of Punjab, Pakistan. I didnt find flower/fruit at this stage but can check in later season.  i have checked with the Loranthaceae family in flora of Pakistan but it looks somehow different.
Please share your views regarding its correct identification.

Many thanks
Iram Mujahid

Can some one please suggest its species also?
Many thanks

Dear All members,
Hope you are fine and doing great. Last year (January 2020), i posted a plant that looks like Viscum sp. It was without any flowers at that time. Then Covid came and we didnt manage to visit forest again. Last week, my lab fellow visited the same place for searching of its flowering stage in order to confirm its identification. Please find attached the photos of flowering portion. However, it looks like Ephedra sp to Rahul Sharma (replied on facebook Indian Flora page). Can you please look at the plant and confirm about its genus and species?
Many thanks
Iram
