Flower date: 21SEP2022

Habitat: wild moisture, dripping rocky misty hill, wind 

Plant habit: erect branches, no stem, unbranched, annual

Height: 15cm (peduncle)

Leaves: not visible 

Flower: lengthy erect angular slender peduncle racemose, tri winged, size:11x13x11mm, violet, non fragrant

Fruit: 

Seed:

Hi I just wanted to add that Burmania, like Ophioglossum (an aquatic fern, =snake tongue fern )are plants that live autotrophically depending on fungus for nutrition and spending much of their time underground like a fungus, only at the time of flowering these species emerge from their underground crypts. I suppose since it is a underground plant, there will be another flower at the same place, almost same time next year/season.
