apparently it even grows in Gujarat, has a gujarati name:  pardesi bhindo

I did not know it has a Gujarati name ...a notorious invasive ...and fruits are not bhindi-like (Abelmoschus/Hibiscus) at all ... has potential to become a fiber yielding plant .
