Trichodesma Indicum

Dear Friends,

I have 2 sets of Photos of a herb (Trichodesma indicum). White one and blue coloured. I hope both these sp are Trichodesma indicum as indicated in Shrikant jis books.

(FOS book (Page 132) and FFOS book (Page 450)  by Shri Shrikant ji has described both this sp.)

(Blue ones were photographed at Dhule region and white one at Prabalgad).

Hello Prashant Ji
there is a difference between these two species
observe the flower carefully

the blue flowered ones has stamens exerted. ie thay are out of
corolla;
where as the white flowered species has included stamens

Trichodesma R. Br. (nom. cons.)
1. Anther exserted; Leaf decurrent; Stem purple....T. indicum (flower
blue)

1. Anther included; Leaf amplexicaul; Stem green...T. inaquale (flower
white)
