I suggest മൈസൂരു തോട്ടി mysooru thotti

മൈസൂരു mysooru = Mysuru or Mysore, a city in south India
തോട്ടി thotti = a generic Malayalam name given to several Sida spp.

We use word thotti തോട്ടി in connection with a lengthy stem or stem like pipe for plucking fruits from trees at heights.  I doesn't have more knowledge about this word.
