Please ID wild Zingiberaceae, kind regards, Sam.

Location: Eravikulam National Park Rajaimalai Munnar Idukki Kerala INDIA

Altitude: 7400fsl

Flower date: 19AUG2025, 10.55am

Habitat: wild moisture rocky evergreen sloppy windy misty canopied shola forest stream side highland/montane

Plant habit: small erect unbranched rhizomatous herb, weak fleshy cylindrical pseudo stem 15mm base diameter, perennial

Height: 03.5 feet

Leaves: alternate elliptic lengthy acute simple flexible smooth, size upto: 40×15cm

Flower: terminal spike inflorescence, white and orange, fragrant
