Dear all,

Please help me in identifying this small grass found near a riparian habitat. The locale was shady.

Place: Sathyamangalam RF, TN (Eastern Ghats)
Alt.: 230 m asl

Looks quite likely to be Oplismenus sp.

I guess the ID of this sp. should be other than Urochloa villosa (Lam.) T.Q.Nguyen Syn : Brachiaria villosa (Lam.) A.Camus
since it does not match with my images, or my sp. is misidentified.
Should this sp. be Urochloa setigera (Retz.) Stapf ?
And there seems to be images of some other sp. also as pointed out by Nidhan Sir !
Please ave a look at it !

I guess the ID of this sp. should be other than Urochloa villosa (Lam.) T.Q.Nguyen Syn : Brachiaria villosa (Lam.) A.Camus
since it does not match with my images, or my sp. is misidentified.

I think there is some confusion and mix up of photos.
images d075 and d076 - Oplismenus compositus
images d064 to d069 are Urochloa panicoides (It can be differentiated from Brachiaria setigera by its lower glume facing away from the axis)
