Plant for ID SMP2- 30/12/2010

An Asteraceae member shrub.
5-6 feet tall. Leaves lanceolate sessile hairy.
Observed near Ambolgad on a plateau Rajapur Konkan.

   Fair enough, but Tricholepis glaberrima is a smalll annual herb 50 - 100 cms tall, whereas the plant in question here is a shrub.

I would personally go with t. glaberrima because

Leaves are not amplexicaul at base
involucre bracts are shorter and erect and not recurved
Heads look smaller in size
